| I was still trying to soak this all up when Ahsu got up to say, "You are totally right George. I think we've known that for quite some time, but all we've been able to do is try to work around it. What else can we do? Do you have any ideas to really make some changes?" Bob said "Ahsu, sit down. Sit down before you get yourself into trouble." I said, "Bob, let her finish. You'll get your chance to speak. I for one would like to hear everything she has to say." George lifted his coffee cup and said, "Me too." Ahsu continued, "I'm sorry Bob. However, it seems like if we don't take control, we'll never have control of all of the things that George was talking about. Bob, you spent time in prison because of all this bullshit. The last thing you are is a criminal. Everyday of our lives, we are trying are best to work around the government. That shouldn't have to be. We should have the freedom to do things we need to do. Or for that matter the things we want to do. I'm with George. I want to hear more about your organization." Ahsu held out her hands to me as if to say 'do you have anything to add to this?' So I stood up and said, "I too, feel that this government intrusion has gone far enough. But short of a military overthrow, I didn't see how we can fix it." George said, "I don't either. Moreover, with spirit and brains on our side, I think we can do something about it. I've seen what you people can do and I know where your heart is. I think we can do good things together." I asked George "I thought you had it in your mind already what you wanted to do?" He replied "no. Only the desired result. That's all I have. I think that's all any of us have right now. But, if we look at ourselves as a giant think-tank, I know we can come up with something." I responded "Giant? We are only four or five people. Just how giant is that?" George laughed a little and said, "about four thousand just in my area. I have the Sacramento area. I think I told you about my organization called Free America. You see this group has actually been growing for about 5 years. For the most part, this time has been spent on recruiting members and getting organized. Only in the last couple of months have we even started to do anything." Ahsu asked, "Just what have you started?" George answered, "Mostly just getting communications set up with other areas and getting some supply routes worked out." Ahsu asked George "you said you are in charge of the Sacramento area. How many other areas are there?" George said, "I can't really tell you, but I can say this. The total number is almost a million." "Wow!" Ahsu replied. She continued "Are these all over the country or. George interrupted her and said, "I can't tell you exactly who's where. But yes, they are all over the country." |
